Tamara brings a wealth of expertise to ReActive Physiotherapy, combining over a decade of experience in pelvic health with a strong academic foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, completed in 2008. Tamara spent 13 years living and working on the East and West coasts of Australia, where she gained invaluable experience treating a diverse range of patients, from children to elite athletes.

As a pelvic health specialist, Tamara has completed advanced training, including a postgraduate certificate in Continence and Women’s Health from Curtin University. She treats a wide variety of pelvic floor conditions for both men and women, with a particular focus on pre/postnatal care, the female athlete, cancer rehabilitation, and men’s health.

Tamara is also a certified Pilates instructor, incorporating mat and reformer-based exercises into her treatments. She believes that movement is medicine and creates personalized, one-on-one treatment plans that integrate manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise, and education to help her patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Outside of the clinic, Tamara stays busy supporting her daughter’s athletic pursuits. She enjoys watching her daughter play hockey and golf and serves as a trainer for her daughter’s hockey team.
