Allison brings a wealth of knowledge and over a decade of experience to ReActive Physiotherapy, specializing in evidence-based treatments for osteoarthritis, breast cancer rehabilitation, and aging athletes. With a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and a Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario, she combines advanced education with hands-on expertise. Her academic foundation is further complemented by a Bachelor’s of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia.
Allison’s extensive post-graduate training includes Integrated Dry Needling, Manual Therapy, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Urban Pole and Activator Pole Walking Instruction, and BoneFit for Osteoporosis. She is also an instructor for the internationally recognized GLA:D (Good Living with Osteoarthritis in Denmark) program, helping patients manage osteoarthritis with effective, research-based care. Her compassionate approach integrates exercise and manual therapy to create personalized care plans, especially for women navigating breast cancer recovery and survivorship.
In addition to her clinical work, Allison is deeply connected to her community. She volunteers at her children’s school, coaches youth sports, and stays active herself by playing tennis, hockey, and training as a recreational triathlete.
